Disposal Information

Obligation to inform about the return of old devices

Note on the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (ElektroG)

Schwaiger GmbH is a registered manufacturer in accordance with Section 18 Paragraph 2 of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act: WEEE Reg. No. DE49068983

According to the ElektroG, electrical and electronic equipment must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste.

Electrical and electronic equipment that you must dispose of separately is marked with a consumer label in the form of a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.

Owners of old devices from private households can hand them in at the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or at the collection points set up by manufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the ElektroG.

Our online shop is a member of the return system Lifecycle (link). Here you can find collection points near you and you can return these old devices there free of charge.

The prerequisite for devices > 25 cm edge length is that you have purchased a new device of the same type in our shop and that you can also prove this by presenting a corresponding proof of purchase.

Important NOTE! Please note that you are always responsible for ensuring that there is no personal data on the old devices you return. Under all circumstances, make sure that you have deleted your personal data from your old device before returning it.

Please also note that old batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed by the old device must be separated from it and disposed of separately before being handed over to a disposal point.

Please also note that all bulbs on the device must be removed if possible.
